Rated Barcelona’s Number One boat and sailing tour

2012 – 2019

The best Barcelona sailing experience

The exquisite views of Barcelona’s picturesque skyline are best enjoyed from the glistening waters of the Mediterranean Sea – completely unobstructed and with peacefulness to be truly appreciated.

In a busy city of over 1.6 million inhabitants, sailing out into the Mediterranean provides a relaxing respite from the hustle and bustle.

We have both private Barcelona sailing tours and open group tours available

Choose a morning, afternoon or sunset sail on booking and make your own way to Barcelona’s city center harbor of Port Olympic to meet your 38-foot sailboat. Your captain will welcome you aboard and provide a safety briefing before you set off into the Mediterranean. Keep your camera handy for great photo ops of the iconic Montjuïc, where the Olympic Games were held, and spectacular views of the city skyline. Soak up the sun and fresh air before returning to your starting point to end your 2.5-hour sailing cruise.

Sailing in Barcelona can be relaxing, adventurous and educational

Have the option to get involved as much or as little as you like during the sail. Learn to work the winch, trim the sails and grab the wheel of the classic sailboat as the skipper demonstrates key sailing skills and then lets you try your hand at it. Bring sun cream and hats, plus bathing suits and towels if you’re planning to swim.

Depending on weather conditions, your skipper will decide your route, leaving you free to relax and drink in the scenery and sunshine. In between the optional swimming and sunbathing, refresh your energy with beer, bottled water, and soft drinks which will be provided on board. You’re also welcome to bring your own drinks or picnic to enjoy on board.

Our international team lives and breathes sailing. Dedicated, experienced professionals who love to share their time on the water.
We have the expertise and resources to offer a full range of nautical experience in Barcelona and throughout the rest of Catalonia.

Q: What route will we be doing? Your skipper will choose a route for your trip based on the wind, currents etc.

Q: What should I bring? •Any sun protection you might need (Hat, glasses, and cream) •Camera •Anything else you would take on a normal day/night out, in case you want to go to a restaurant directly after. •Any sea sickness medication

•Swimwear and towel if your planning on swimming

Q: How many people go on your tours? Can be anything up to 8

Q: Will I get wet? Definitely, if you want to jump into the Mediterranean to cool off from the summer sun. If you’re sitting on deck you could also get a refreshing splash

Q: Can we join another group? Yes you can choose from private or open group tours

Q: Can we bring food or drinks with us? Yes! You can bring anything you like. Water, soft drinks and beer are provided on the boat, and also napkins and disposable cups, plates, and cutlery.

Q: What footwear should we wear? Something comfortable and practical. High heels should be avoided, both for your own safety, and to prevent damaging the wooden decks.

Q: Can we stop for a swim / snorkel? Yes! If the sea is calm enough. It usually is, especially in the morning. It should be warm enough for the braver swimmers in late May. The rest of us might prefer to wait until mid-June for the temperature to rise a little more.

Q: Can we play music? Yes, we have speakers on board

Q: Do we need to know anything about sailing? Absolutely not! The skipper will do the sailing, while you do the relaxing! But if you do want to get involved in sailing the boat, that’s very welcomed

Q: How fit do we need to be? The cruise is a relaxing trip, not a work-out, so fitness isn’t an issue. However, to board the boat you do need to climb a couple of steps up the boarding ladder. If you have any problems with mobility, let us know, and we’ll arrange to collect you from the fuel dock, where you can simply step aboard.

Q: Is there a toilet on board? Yes, but it can be a bit of a challenge with the boat moving through the waves! Probably best to go before the trip.

Q: What about seasickness? Most of our boats are pretty stable. But if you are sensitive to motion sickness, we recommend a medicine called “Stugeron” (generic name – Cinnarizine). You can get it over the counter at any pharmacy. Take one tablet about an hour before sailing. If you do feel queasy on the boat, the best advice is to lie on your back and close your eyes for a few minutes. It works wonders for most people.

Q: Who will be taking me on the tour? One of our experienced skippers and crew.

Q: What are the age restrictions? We have no age restrictions.

Q: Where is your office in Barcelona? We are an office-less company, that way we keep our overheads low and can pass these savings onto you.

Q: What is your cancellation policy? We understand that whilst traveling plans can change and that you may need to cancel your tours. Just give us 48 hours advance notice, and we will offer a full refund on any amount that you have paid. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of our reservation we generally cannot offer any refund, unless we can fill your spots. It may be possible to reschedule your booking for another day, depending on availability.

Q: When do you cancel tours for weather? We usually do not cancel tours due to overcast skies but we do cancel trips for steady rain, especially strong wind, thunderstorms or any weather the skipper feels is dangerous. If you have reserved a tour, we email you if we are canceling the trip due to weather and give you a choice of either rescheduling (depending on availability) or receiving a full refund. We will do this as soon as we know the tour will be canceled, however, this can sometimes not be until the morning before the tour.

Q: Do I need to tip my guide? No, only if you want to and feel that it’s deserved. Tips are never expected but always appreciated.

This is only our mooring, we do not have offices for inquiries here
