The Canaletes fountain located at the entrance of the Rambla de Barcelona is a fountain directly linked to the local football team that is the Fútbol Club Barcelona or better known as Barça. Indeed, every time the team wins major matches, cups or leagues, all its fans go to the fountain to celebrate. It’s the meeting place for all fans.

The fountain of Santa Anna is characterized as the oldest source of the city. Built in 1356, it has been renovated several times and has become an iconic place in the district of Ciutat Vella. It is located in Cucurulla street with the Portal de l’Àngel avenue.

The Fountain of Santa Eulàlia, located in the heart of the Raval district, was built in 1673. It is the oldest monument of the city. The first statue was destroyed and reformed later, twice until today.

Barcelona is full of fountains. Not only do these monuments give water or have representative sculptures, but they are filled with stories that describe the city.
